So while the middle class gets squeezed by the risin' price of gas
their problems are a breeze compared to the workin' class

now the jobless gangs are lurkin' and the workin' class is screwed
but the CEO's are jumpin' in their golden parachutes
and the public Joe wants somethin' like a fair share of their loot
the banks are callin' in their loans and they're callin' up the cops
if you don't wanna lose yer homes then you better make it stop
